GREET partners with public sector, environmental and tourism related NGO’s, tourism-related associations, rural ecotourism destinations and other organizations. These partners share our commitment of the continual growth of rural ecotourism in Ghana and its socio-economic impacts.
Our partners include:
- Rural Community Tourism Enterprises, an initiative assisting over 30 rural destination develop tourism enterprises.
- Ghana Tourist Board and Ministry of Tourism
- Ghana Wildlife Division
- Private sector tourism operators, such as businesses; tour operators, hotels, car rental agencies, airlines, mobile telephone providers, etc., that sign formal collaboration agreements to participate with GREET.
- SPEED Ghana, provides financial assistance and technical support.
- Nature Conservation Research Centre (NCRC), a non-profit, non-governmental conservation organization that has worked to develop most of the rural ecotourism destinations for up to a decade.
- US Peace Corps, which continues to post business advisor volunteers at rural ecotourism destinations to provide capacity building support.
- SNV Netherlands Development Organization, provides technical support and capacity building.
